Identify tools and matched assets.
Give each tool a manufacturer, exact model, serial if available and location. List chambers, modules, controllers, computers and associated parts with a system identifier. Separate independent support assets from components required for the system. State quantities counted and estimates separately.
Record configuration from existing evidence.
Use labels, existing documentation and photographs. Include known wafer or application context only when confirmed; do not infer capability from appearance. Describe installed options and missing components. Keep unknown specifications open for review rather than filling a spreadsheet with guesses.
Describe condition and process history.
State whether the tool is installed, disconnected, packed, stored, working as last used, untested or for parts. Disclose known exposure, residual materials, cleaning status and restrictions. Equipment acceptance does not automatically include special contents or specialist treatment.
Include support equipment in context.
List probers, handlers, metrology, vacuum pumps, power supplies, gas cabinets, cleanroom assets and dedicated temperature-control units where present. Connect cooling and controller assets to the equipment they support. General laboratory chillers remain outside our general laboratory buying scope.
Describe the route out of the facility.
Provide dimensions, approximate weight, access route, loading facilities, cleanroom requirements, utility status and available time. The site must be prepared before agreed work. Large industrial machinery, building restoration and engineering-system work are outside Surplus Cascade’s scope.
Keep tool facts separate from site facts
Use one sheet for equipment identity and configuration, and another for location, access and preparation. Link them with the same asset ID. A tool can be identifiable but still lack enough site information for a removal commitment. Existing process-history and cleaning records help explain the asset; a spreadsheet entry alone does not certify it ready for movement.
Confirm ownership and data requirements.
Exclude leased, financed and third-party assets not authorized for sale. Identify installed storage, confidentiality and any required sanitization or records before collection. If an NDA is needed, contact us before sending restricted details.
Send the inventory for a semiconductor equipment review or discuss a larger inventory buyout. Photos can begin the review; final purchase pricing follows equipment checks.
