Equipment buying scope and exclusions.

A clear equipment list helps us review the right assets. These boundaries apply before pricing, site visits and collection are agreed.

Our main buying interests.

We directly buy test and measurement instruments, semiconductor tools and fab-support assets, laser and optical systems, and compact industrial equipment. For industrial projects, the confirmed categories are robotics and automation, electrical equipment, industrial test equipment and facility-support assets. Larger groups and mixed inventories are preferred.

What is outside the current scope.

  • Large industrial machinery, heavy machine-shop and CNC equipment.
  • HPLC, GC and LC-MS laboratory systems.
  • Microscopes, laboratory balances and centrifuges.
  • Stand-alone general laboratory chillers.
  • Leased, financed, encumbered or third-party equipment not authorized for sale.

Cooling associated with a technical system.

Dedicated cooling and temperature-control equipment supplied with laser or semiconductor systems may be considered within that technical inventory. Describe the parent system and configuration. This does not expand the general laboratory buying scope to stand-alone chillers.

Condition is reviewed separately from category.

Working, untested, faulty, incomplete, older and for-parts assets can be considered in an accepted category. Missing documentation can be described openly. Provide the actual models and known condition rather than assuming every unit is accepted.

Special contents need an early discussion.

Tell us about contamination, gases, chemicals, batteries, stored data or other unusual conditions. Equipment acceptance does not automatically include its contents or specialist processing. Any recycling route, data sanitization and documentation requirements must be discussed before collection.

Not sure where an item fits?

Start with model numbers, photographs, quantity and location. Identify exclusions separately in a mixed inventory. We can review possible purchase, recycling and auction routes without assuming that all items will be collected. See selling equipment directly for the process.
