One buyer for a technical inventory.
Surplus Cascade purchases equipment directly. We focus on test and measurement instruments, semiconductor tools and support assets, laser and optical systems, and compact industrial equipment. Larger lots, department inventories and mixed groups are especially interesting. You can start with an incomplete list; identify what you know and leave unknown details open.
Working, untested or for parts.
We consider working, untested, faulty, incomplete, older and for-parts equipment within our buying scope. Missing manuals or an expired calibration record do not automatically rule out a review. Describe condition honestly and include faults, missing modules and accessories. Acceptance depends on the actual models and condition; a category listing is not an offer to buy every item.
The price follows an equipment check.
Photos and an inventory help us understand the opportunity. The final price is determined only after the equipment has been checked. We consider condition, completeness, market demand, lot volume, disassembly requirements, packing and transportation cost. The checking process and any site visit are arranged for the project.
Direct wire transfer after the price is agreed.
Payment is made by direct wire transfer after we agree on the transaction price. Payment timing, equipment release, collection and the exact assets included are confirmed for that deal. Verify payment instructions through an established contact before sharing banking information.
Only equipment authorized for sale.
We do not accept leased, financed or encumbered equipment. Tell us who owns the assets and who can approve the transaction. Separate third-party equipment and anything that must remain on site from the proposed purchase list.
Agree the work before collection.
Our team is experienced in disassembly, packing and transportation. Before work is scheduled, agree the site preparation, equipment included, access, labor, charges and responsibility for handling and damage. Large industrial machinery and building restoration are outside our scope. Excluded equipment does not become part of the purchase simply because it is in the same room.
Send the information you have.
- Manufacturer, model, quantity and clear identification photos.
- Known condition, missing parts and included controllers or accessories.
- City, state or ZIP code, approximate volume and desired timeline.
- Dimensions, access restrictions, stored data or special handling concerns.
We review projects in California, Oregon, Washington State and Nevada and aim to respond within 24 hours. If purchase is not suitable for part of the inventory, we can discuss recycling or an auction route. See the equipment scope and exclusions before sending a specialist laboratory inventory.
